How we make money

Some retailer links pay us a commission. It never changes a verdict.

Some links to retailers on worthitforyou are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you — through a retailer’s own affiliate program or an affiliate network (including Sovrn Commerce for some non-Amazon stores). Amazon clicks may earn us a small per-click fee through Sovrn Commerce (not Amazon Associates), at no extra cost to you. On the way to Amazon, Sovrn and its ad partners may set their own cookies; if your browser blocks them, we send you straight to Amazon instead. This is how we keep worthitforyou free, with no paywall (pages also carry labelled Google ads, which never affect a verdict). When you click through to a store, the retailer’s or network’s affiliate program may set its own cookie so the sale is credited to us — see our privacy policy. We use link-level affiliate attribution only and load no third-party ad or tracking scripts of our own.

We show affiliate links because running the price-data service costs money and this keeps worthitforyou free with no paywall (pages also carry labelled Google ads, which never affect a verdict). If that ever started to bend the verdicts, we’d drop it — we keep verdicts independent by calculating them from price research, not retailer payments.
